Worksheets(1) 'Find last cell with data in column A. It will then print off these and update any of the fields.
When my macro runs i get a message Word is updating the field codes in the document. Then place the names of travel expenses in say D5 and training expenses in F5.
I have tried setting screenupdating, displayalerts, displaystatusbar = false but i still get the message and it shows the macro going to the next doc. Are you using office 2007 and when you run the code you are running in debug mode?
What I observe is: 1) some operations are occurring while the new Workbook's window is hidden 2) the new workbook's window displays (but does not activate the ribbon tab).
The active worksheet is shown as empty since Screen Updating is off 3) more operations on the workbook are done (but you can't see them being done as Screen Updating is off, you still just see an empty worksheet) 4) after the operations are completed.
